Hydraulic gates don’t even have to be operated at full power to open large gates.

Another advantage of hydraulic gates is that they can be non-locking. This helps to protect the access control system if a vehicle runs into it. The internal seals will likely be broken should this happen, but they can be repaired.

Hydraulic gate operators can also be used with swing or slide gates and can be controlled via wireless remote. These operating systems will also need to have a backup power system to meet national fire code requirements.
